CERTIFIED COMPOSTABLE: These EcoSafe compostable trash bags/ garbage bin liners are BPI certified compostable and CMA approved for food waste disposal (BPI Cert #890992).
SECURE FIT: The 16 x 17" biodegradable trash bags are designed to perfectly fit a 2.5 gallon food waste bin with a loose bottom but snug fit over the top of the bin to prevent movement.
PUNCTURE, LEAK & TEAR RESISTANT: Our kitchen trash bags are highly leak resistant as well as resistant to punctures and tears; the sturdy compost bags are finished with extra strong star seal bottoms.
NO DOUBLE BAGGING: These extra strength compost bags are made with durable resin to make them more robust - no need to use 2 or 3 bags to safely contain and transport even heavy or wet food waste.
CALIFORNIA LAW COMPLIANT: These green trash bags are made in the USA from US made resins, and are compliant with all labeling requirements set forth by California law, including SB 1383.

Fitting snugly around the rim of a 2.5 gallon food waste bin, the base of the bag remains loose to allow for maximum fill, and the bag is finished with an extra strong star-seal bottom to cover the entire base of the compost bin without being pulled or stretched for the perfect fit. These compost bin bags are BPI certified compostable to the ASTM D6400 standard (BPI Cert #890992). These food waste bags are also compliant with all labeling requirements set forth by California law including SB 1383.
